![]() ![]() Was quite impressed that the MH dae rig worked in Carrara and I could bring that too via FBX into iClone and use motion editor for facial animation. I have had 3dx4 for about 4 months and using the Maya rig in Carrara have brought rigged meshes into iClone albeit without facial animation. Probably too old a post but I only downloaded MakeHuman first time ever yesterday. Dreamcube018 Posts: 7 Joined: Mon 1:12 am I don't know if it comes with a facial rig but if it does, then you will even be able to do facial animations. If you do it this way and make sure the mesh deforms correctly, then you can be assured that the meshcan use all the animation features available in iClone. All you're really doing is retargeting the character, so it's not like you have to make the rig over from scratch. If I were you, I'd go to Reallusion's site, download the Maya Character FBX template from the developer area, then toss the MakeHuman rig, and rerig the character with the iClone rig. I don't know how good the blender FBX exporter is either. I'm not sure how smooth of a road exporting with FBX is. This might be solved in 3DX 5, but as of right now. ![]() This means that face shapes WILL NOT work. You'll need to import the MHX into blender, then export that as an FBX file.Īlso, as of right now, 3DX cannot take morphs. I don't have 3DX Pro, but I can tell you now that an obj won't work because the character needs to be animatible. ![]()
